MindfulBytes is operated by the Center for Cybersecurity and Cyberpsychology Research, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website or using our materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or our materials.

2. Description of the Program and Website

MindfulBytes is a K-5 digital wellness education program grounded in cyberpsychology research. Through this website we provide:

• Information about the MindfulBytes curriculum and its research foundations.
• Curriculum materials, lesson resources, and implementation guidance for schools and educators.
• Supporting resources for families of K-5 students.
• A contact form for inquiries about the program.

The website is informational and does not require an account, login, or subscription to use. We may add, modify, or discontinue any part of the website or program materials at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use this website and our materials only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with their educational intent. You agree that you will not:

Children engage with MindfulBytes only through their school or under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not offer child accounts, profiles, or interactive features that collect personal information from children. Schools and educators are responsible for using MindfulBytes materials in accordance with their own policies and applicable student privacy laws. Our handling of data, including our commitments under FERPA and COPPA, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the MindfulBytes curriculum, lesson materials, text, graphics, logos, and the MindfulBytes name and marks — is owned by the Center for Cybersecurity and Cyberpsychology Research or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Educators, schools, and families may download, print, and use our materials for noncommercial educational purposes with attribution preserved. Any other use — including modification, republication, or commercial distribution — requires our prior written permission.

MindfulBytes is an educational program. Its materials are provided for general informational and instructional purposes only and are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, clinical, or legal advice. MindfulBytes is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified professional.
